1. ACCEPTED MODES OF PAYMENT

To ensure maximum convenience for our patients and customers across our 24/7 retail counter and online web/app ordering platform, we accept the following payment options:

• Cash on Counter (Retail Stores): Indian Rupee (INR) currency notes accepted up to statutory limits under the Income Tax Act at our physical store cash counters.
• Credit & Debit Cards: All major domestic and international debit and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, RuPay, and American Express) are processed via secured, encrypted POS swipe terminals in-store and 3D-Secure payment gateways online.
• Digital & Online Payments:
  • Unified Payments Interface (UPI): Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, and QR code scans.
  • Net Banking: Supported across all leading public and private sector banks in India.
  • Prepaid Digital Wallets: Certified wallet applications.

2. INVOICING, PRICE INTEGRITY & STATUTORY GST

• Mandatory Tax Invoice: Every transaction is billed through a computerized, serialized GST tax invoice itemizing product descriptions, batch numbers, expiry dates, HSN/SAC codes, applicable GST rates (typically 5%, 12%, or 18% based on the drug/wellness schedule), and central/state tax breakdowns.
• Tax Liability: As a registered corporate entity under the Goods and Services Tax (GST) Act, GST collected at billing is statutorily remitted to the government treasury.

3. Non-Refundable Statutory GST Policy

In the event of an approved return or order cancellation where a monetary refund is granted (under our verified damaged/expired goods policy), the Goods and Services Tax (GST) component billed on the transaction will be deducted from the final refund amount. The customer shall receive the net product value after statutory tax deduction, as government tax filing charges and statutory levies already incurred cannot be refunded in cash.

4. REFUND DISBURSEMENT: BANK ACCOUNT TRANSFER EXCLUSIVELY

Under no circumstances are cash or wallet refunds issued, even if the original transaction was paid in cash at our retail store:

• Direct Bank Account Transfer: All sanctioned refunds are remitted directly to the customer's verified Indian savings or current bank account via electronic transfer (NEFT/RTGS/IMPS).
• Beneficiary Verification: To prevent fraud and ensure fiscal compliance, the customer must furnish:
  • Account Holder's Full Name (matching the invoice record)
  • Bank Name and Branch
  • Account Number
  • IFSC Code
  • Copy of original GST tax invoice
• Processing Timeline: Upon receiving and approving the return alongside verification of bank coordinates, the net refund (minus GST) is credited within 5 to 7 business days.

5. PAYMENT SECURITY & TRANSACTION PROTECTION

• PCI-DSS Compliant Processing: Online card transactions and net banking portals use certified, end-to-end 256-bit encryption. Well Meds does not capture or store card CVV, PINs, or net banking passwords.
• Failed / Dropped Transactions: For failed transactions where money is debited from your account but the order is unconfirmed, bank reconciliation is handled automatically by your issuing bank within 3 to 5 banking days under RBI auto-reversal mandates.
